Review excerpts for A FOREVER KIND OF GUY
Review excerpt from Long and Short Reviews:
"...Built on a platform of past regrets, this emotional story has full power to draw the reader in. With characters that are complex, believable, and likable, this is both a plot and character driven story. There are so many touches of real life situations that it's hard not to somehow relate to one of the characters situations. Hayley and Ray have a long way to go in putting their fears and pasts behind them, but the journey towards that goal is one not to be missed.
What's not to like about a happily ever after for two people that have been through hell and back, but yet manage to stay strong in the meantime? If you still believe in forever, then don't miss this gut wrenching, intense book about life, loss, and love in A Forever Kind of Guy."

From Naughty Cougar Tales Blogspot Naughty D's Review (excerpted):
“…this is also the first book I've read by Barbara Meyers. I wasn't sure what I would find with A Forever Kind of Guy, but I found I really enjoyed it! I absolutely LOVED Ray from the beginning and what’s not to LOVE about Haley’s nephew Fletcher. Ray refuses to give up on Haley, he is strong, sexy and semi patient. Their chemistry is hot and Haley gives a good fight, but has a helluva time refusing Ray. Besides the great emotional growth and healing in this book, we also get to read great family and friend dynamics…I didn’t realize there was a book one until I was half way into this book. I wasn’t lost at all, but I do want to go back and read about the road to Rick and Kaylee’s HEA. As far as I'm concerned, A Forever Kind of Guy is a true contemporary romance. The story is full of emotional strife, humor, family ties and life struggles with sweet lovin' thrown in. IMO the sexin' is at the right pace and right amount for the story. I read the last word of A Forever Kind of Guy with a sigh and a smile on my face. I give A Forever Kind of Guy
